Brown, Sadijah Wallace, and Gisela Alvizures to review their experience being trained during the Transformative Justice Coalition’s Gen Z and Millennial Voting Rights Leadership Training held April 2nd - 8th in Phoenix, Arizona. This event prepared 47 young people to be non-partisan voting rights advocates in their communities, with 19 panels with 37 expert speakers, the HBCU All-Stars Game, networking and debrief dinner discussions, a reception, and a community activation project.

Yet Maryland taxpayers have supported the naming of monuments after people who stood for slavery and against the advancement and inclusion of African Americans.
