This show will focus on a review of 2023 and its major racial and social justice happenings. In particular, we will look at media coverage: what it got wrong; what it got right; and, what it missed altogether. This show will also discuss how to raise public awareness, consciousness, and activism regarding important matters that are not highlighted in the national public debate.

The Voting Rights Battle Continues" during the Selma Jubilee commemorating the 59th Anniversary of Bloody Sunday. The Series’ central themes are to encourage the passage of the Freedom To Vote Act & the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act.

Our April 9 show features special guests D. Angel Edwards, Pastor Chauncey D. Brown, Sadijah Wallace, and Gisela Alvizures to review their experience being trained during the Transformative Justice Coalition’s Gen Z and Millennial Voting Rights Leadership Training held April 2nd - 8th in Phoenix, Arizona. This event prepared 47 young people to be non-partisan voting rights advocates in their communities, with 19 panels with 37 expert speakers, the HBCU All-Stars Game, networking and debrief dinner discussions, a reception, and a community activation project.
