Hi Igniters For Change! The Igniting Change Radio show today will discuss the passing of the amazing poet Nikki Giovanni, and we will examine the ongoing public debates about the use of presidential and prosecutorial power. We will start this discussion with a segment previewing the upcoming motions hearing on December 11th in Glynn County, Georgia in the Jackie Johnson case regarding her alleged abuse of prosecutorial power by protecting the killers of Ahmaud Arbery. Co-Hosts Arnwine and Jones will be in attendance in support of Marcus Arbery and family during these hearings. The major trial of the case is set to start on January 21st, 2025. As promised four years ago, TJC will continue to be in this fight until there is 100% Justice for Ahmaud Arbery.

Following the results of the 2024 presidential elections, there has been much analysis and discussion about the reasons for the outcome and the negative consequences for civil rights and voting rights platformed in the incoming Trump Administration. Despite all of these many media stories, there has been a severe failure to cover the racism, sexism, and misogynoir that plagued this election. Without a proper analysis, our nation will continue to repeat the errors of the past. Our special guest Prof. Kimberlé Crenshaw, Esq. will help to examine the reasons for the media’s inability to properly diagnose the 2024 presidential election.
