I am an Afro-Saginawian who lives MAAT and works towards community autonomy. My primary focuses are education and community development. I use Afrocentric history as a tool to empower communities and create sustainable independent infrastructures. I’m currently a soldier in the Michigan National Guard, The City of Ypsilanti’s Downtown Development Authority Coordinator, Eastern Michigan University Student Government’s Director of Philanthropy, and Ypsilanti Community Middle School’s College and Career Advisor. Organization wise I’m the founder of the Saginaw Improvement Association which assist community development agendas in Saginaw through education, litigation, and love.
