Our show on Tuesday, November 7th, 12:00-1:00 PM ET will feature a conversation with Greater DC area Millennial powerhouses Phil Malcolm and Alan Adeleke about their radio show, The Real Phil Show. We will discuss their inspired advocacy for Millennials to amplify their voices and activism for positive societal change.
As November 7th is Election Day 2017, we will update our listeners on major contests in VA, NJ and the many states with local mayoral races. We will discuss turnout reports and help voters to locate resources and assistance to help vote.
During the show, Phil Malcolm and Alan Adeleke will share the different roads they have taken to becoming fierce advocates for Millennials. Before graduating from Washington Adventist University, Phil received the Newman Civic Fellows Award for leadership on campus and in the community. He was encouraged to establish his radio show to give voice to the Millennial perspective on the issues of our day. Alan is a recognized poet in the DMV and has adopted the moniker The Conscious Route. He co-hosts the Real Phil Show. We will explore how their spiritual and religious underpinnings have become so vital to their activism. See pictures and bios at www.BarbaraArnwine.com.
Issues to be examined include the importance of Millennials defining purpose and/or identity; viewpoints on the challenge of registering and mobilizing Millennials to participate in elections; questions about Millennials and healthcare, the arts, higher education, housing, the church and other issues.
