He is a part of a rap group called DA FIELD and has been doing music since
he was nine. Among other musical success, De’Anthony co-wrote the song
‘“Rise Up, America”, an original political anthem that promotes civic
engagement. The anthem first debuted on a popular weekly livestream show
called #KaraokeLIVE, which he helps produce and regularly performs on. He
also performed “Rise Up, America” at the National Commission for Voter
Justice’s Press Conference Launch in January 2018.

He learned how to rap from his big brother, Marvin Jr. De’Anthony grew up in foster care, and
as a result, wants to one day not only own his own music company, but be an advocate for
youth in foster care, and start a program that gives at-risk youth studio time, as well as teaches
them how to write and understand music.

Outside of music, De’Anthony is a father of two beautiful girls, and likes to play football,
basketball, exercise, and dance. His favorite show is “Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey” on the
National Geographic Channel. De’Anthony has always been really into astronomy, and, in
following his second passion, aspires to one day be an astronomer.
